Eating from apps costs a lot more than going out and buying stuff, but if everything you are buying goes off it also costs more. These are normal considerations for disabled people, we might keep something in the fridge and never eat it, a lot.
Just eat can help with this, but unfortunately they are ableists. What happens with just eat is if you order something it doesnt arrive THEY EXPECT YOU TO PAY FOR IT.
First they will make the pretence of conducting an “investigation”. These are conducted by people with strange names, probably from a foreign call centre who claim to have investigated. On more than 3 occasions, they just simply want you to eat the cost, and make it sound like THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. this is obviously fraud, but i expect they think they can get away with it because disabled people wont complain and will give up. This is typical of corporations.
Their first mechanism for fraud is you can only complain about something within 24 hours, if this abitrary 24 hours is not adhered to, again “there is nothing they can do”. They seem to frame their responses as though they really are the last stop, but there is something you can do, you can report them for fraud and charge them back via your bank,. The first thing Just Eat will do is send you a message saying something like this:
